A little Bear fun...

Well, we are home and enjoying our little girl... Well, she is sleeping, but we still are enjoying her! ;) This afternoon the hospital photographer came by to see about taking Reagan's hospital pics, and at first I wasn't sure we wanted to do it since we didn't do it with Eli, and I can take the pictures myself for a lot cheaper... Well, we found out they do it for free, and you can buy them online later if you like, so we decided to do it and then our families could see them online. Well, as the lady was setting up a few shots, Reagan was being VERY good and the photographer could not believe it, so she kept setting up different shots... Well, I thought one of the last ones she did was pretty cute, so I asked her if she minded me "stealing her pose" and she said go ahead, so I snapped a couple with my camera... I thought they turned out pretty cute and thought y'all might like to see one of them too!

Reagan is HERE!!! :)

We are so excited to announce that Reagan Caroline Stroud is here!!! Story to follow shortly! (Reagan is eating right now, so one handed typing only takes you so far!)

She was born on 4-27-09 @ 1:16 pm, weighing 9 lbs even and 20 inches long! Everyone is doing beautifully! Here is the link to some pictures on Facebook... Let me know if anyone has a problem viewing the pictures!

Updated Reagan's Room pics!

Well, I've gotten some more done in Reagan's room, so I thought y'all would like to see! :) (I've actually gotten more done since these, but it isn't completely FINISHED, so I'm not posting those till everything is done!)

We have over 1,000 diapers stocked up... :) Hopefully this will last for a little while! ;)

Got this changing table cover that I LOVE! It is sooo soft!

I'm not a "hanging clothes" person, but here are a few that I've hung up...

Got this towel that fit perfectly to hide the scuffs till I get a chance to refinish the dresser...

Her Newborn drawer... The whole dresser is packed with pretty little clothes for our little girl!

The diaper bag that we received from our church shower... It coordinates with our crib bedding

I LOVE this bedding set... so pink and pretty!

The gorgeous blanket that my wonderful Grandma made for Reagan! I love, love, love it!

Reagan's Room...

Well, I've been working on our baby girl's room since we closed on the house and I am finally DONE with all the finish work! We just have to move all of her furniture in and then we are ready for her to make her arrival!

Here is her room Before...

I painted a light pink coat on the top half and then tediously taped off the stripes...

I then painted the darker pink on the alternating stripes

After I pulled the tape off...

Close-up... I was pretty proud of how "clean" the tape pulled off! ;)

I just liked how it looked against the white door! ;)

After I painted the chocolate brown on the bottom... (All these were taken with my cell phone, that's why the colors will look a lil' different than the finished pics which I took with my D300)

All done... Ta-da! ;) I really am so happy with how it came together... I've never done anything like installing and finishing a chair rail, so I'm very happy with how it looks!

This is the used dresser we bought that is very solid and just needs a little refinishing and some new hardware... Hopefully I'll get to this in a few months... ;)

Close up... I'm really thrilled with how it turned out!

Well, I'm almost caught up, Yay! ;) Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter! We had a pretty relaxing one, and I got to take a few pics of Eli, and thought y'all would like to see them!

Ryan with a beard??

Well, as most of you know, Ryan had surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids and to correct his deviated septum back in February... Well, because this resulted in a couple weeks off, he took the opportunity to grow his beard out. Something he's wanted to do for a long time. Well, this was right before he had to shave it off, so he wanted some pictures for posterity... Here you go, you be the judge...

This is Eli at the ER in November... He had an over 104 degree temp that wouldn't stay down with meds, so we headed to the ER... :( This was after lots of Motrin... He was happy for about 20 minutes, then miserable again!)

I was putting away Eli's saucer since Reagan can't use it for a couple more months and Eli couldn't handle it, he HAD to get in even with it folded up! ;)
